If text messaging was a sport i would kick butt in that!!
it's been awhile, but i am still here. Been busy lately wrapping up Jandra's ball season and getting ready for our yardsale with the neighbors (honeybell) that has turned out to be a bigger task then i ever thought it would be. My living room looks like Wal-Mart exploded.
Eric started working evenings the 230-11 shift--and let me tell you it is for the birds. If i happen to fall asleep Harley our dog starts going ape shit when he comes home so that of course wakes me up. SO i thought i would stay up till he got home ohhh bout 1130 pm ish well then i dont go to bed till 1 or so in the morning because we talk and of course he is wide awake. We have noticed with this shift that we dont get to talk about things, things that are going on filling him in on stuff etc.
I am so tired today this 4 hours of sleep is not working for me. when i am so used to being in bed at 9.
I am sure it will just take some getting used to, but sleep deprivation may kick in first.
Although we typically post on Team Vox to let you know about things that are going on with Vox (to, uh, state the obvious), once in a while, we like to let you know about other cool things that are happening around the blogosphere. And we think the idea of four hilarious mommy bloggers traveling across the U.S. on their way to the BlogHer '08 conference - all the while blogging and video blogging the journey - is one trip you will not want to miss.
Four adventurous bloggers from the Silicon Valley Moms Group were selected to participate in the Summer Road Trip '08 and blog about their travels, hotel stays, media appearances, time away from their families, and life on the road. Six Apart helped them partner up with General Motors, who provided the blogging mommies with a Chevy Tahoe Hybrid SUV to help make their journey comfy, safe, and a little more green.
In case you're not familiar with them, SV Moms is a group of over 200 bloggers who showcase the ups, downs, outrages, struggles, victories, and everyday humor of motherhood. There are currently nine regional and demographically tailored sites that give mothers from D.C., New Jersey, the Deep South, Rocky Mountains, L.A., and Silicon Valley a powerful voice and sense of camaraderie across the country. Whether you're a mother, a child, or just a person who enjoys a good blog, you'll really love reading the words of these amazing women.
The moms buckled into their Chevy Tahoe Hybrid SUV on July 11th and even got an encouraging message from Katie Couric to kick things off! They are currently somewhere in the middle of America making their way to San Francisco where they'll attend an SV Moms Group Party, as well as BlogHer '08.
You do not want to miss these entertaining and irreverent bloggers -- or their spontaneous contest giveaways! -- as they blog from the road. Experience the journey at MomRoadTrip.com.
And let us know about your summer road trip - or plane/boat/bus trip - in the comments! (I like to live vicariously.)
- 20:59 I love ghosthunters!! This show is awesome #

Have you ever broken a bone? If not, what's the worst injury you've sustained?
ohhh lets see about 4 years ago it was over memorial day weekend and my sister in law and my girls where in my parents basement getting stuff ready for a yard sale i was having.
My dad had just bought a computer and you know they don't use packing peanuts anymore they use those little bags of air WELLLLL i stepped on one of those bags of air and let me tell you something they DO NOT pop. My ankle swelled up like a blow fish i am screaming and crying and cussing the F word flew out of my mouth a few times and I never say that word around my parents I very rarely cuss over there.
Well here comes Eric, my dad and my brother and at that point they were laughing trying to make me laugh. Got me to the hospital and they are still laughing ((mind you you have to know them it was not meant to be mean))!! As i was thrashing around in utter pain---I think i died a little
They get me up the stairs into the car and off to the hospital we go
the ER doctor came in OH GAWD, but i digress asked what happend (while the 3 men snickerd in the corner) and the Dr. asked me if I was sober (he had never heard of someone stepping on a bag of air) then he proceeds to snicker.
that was so painful it was black and blue from my toes to the middle of my calf.
So if you are ever around those little puches of "packing" air BE CAREFUL there should be a warning on them damn things.
