To appear on “NYC TV PROFILES” 
With season 6 of “American Idol” gearing up for this years finale, the celebrity interview program “NYC TV PROFILES” hosted by Mickey Burns will feature season 4 runner-up Bo Bice.
Bice took America by storm in season 4 with his deep baritone style of singing, while incorporating soul, country, blues and rock. In season 4 Bice was 28 years old, the limit for idol contestants, - he holds the distinction of being the oldest contestant to have progressed the farthest, eventually coming in 2nd to Carrie Underwood.
In this special edition of “NYC TV PROFILES” that will air citywide on NYC TV, channel 74 on Tuesday May 6th at 7:30 PM, Bice takes us through the “American Idol” experience from beginning to end. He also discusses his near death series of emergency intestinal surgery’s.
Currently Bo is celebrating the release of his latest album entitled “See The Light”, a project according to Bice that he’s been working on for the last 10 years.
As an added bonus, this episode also includes an un-plugged acoustic performance with Bice at his best.

Bart started honing in on his guitar skills at the ripe age of four. Along the way, he became an accomplished musician in a variety of instruments including the mandolin, banjo, dobro, bass, saxophone, fiddle and drums. His accomplishments include winning a variety of bluegrass competitions in his youth, a full scholarship from Vanderbilt’s Blair School of Music to study voice in high school, being chosen as a vocalist in the Governors School for the Arts, as well as being selected by a Tennessee panel of judges for excellence for jazz band. After graduating high school, he was recruited into the army national guard as a musician. He attended Austin Peay State University on a full scholarship where his concentration was vocal performance and string bass majors and minors in guitar performance and composition. After college, he moved to Memphis to pursue his dreams of playing the blues. While in Memphis, he became a known name and played for the likes of Ruby Wilson and Preston Shannon. He later on formed a band called Five Mississippi playing all over Beale Street, as well as other parts of Memphis, and as far south as Tunica, Clarksdale and Oxford Mississippi. He returned to Nashville in 2005 with a new feel for the blues, where he has played many studio sessions and various clubs. In addition to his current role as lead guitarist for B.B. King’s House Rockers at B.B. King’s Blues Club, he has also chalked up countless hours in the studio.
